This Guy
This guy is a douchebag. Well, maybe he isn't, I don't know much about him. I do know that he was voted off of American Idol yesterday to the surprise of millions of viewers.This Daughtry guy may or may not be a douchebag, but the millions of people who watch American Idol in a trancelike state each week certainly are. Don't you people have anything better to do than watched this manufactured garbage?
Please, go outside, get some exercise, spend time with your kids, learn a new language, read a fucking book. Get off your asses and find something better to do than waste what precious little time you have on this earth watching American Idol.

The good folks at Automatic News ought to take a cue from you, good sir, and get back to work.
Can you imagine having a show like American Idol back in the '60's or '70's? It would have been laughed off of everyone's 15 inch television set. We, in America and and the U.K., have lost our soul and our balls. Mr. Page, I second your call for everyone to turn this shit off.

Were you alive in the 60s and 70s? It was the absolute low point for television (except news) Check out some Hee Haw, Gilligans Island and Lawrence Welk reruns and see if you still feel the same way.

Hee Haw ruled. It had a certain tongue-in-cheek kitsch factor; being ironically self-referential without taking itself too seriously. American Idol is kitschy, but they don't know that they're kitschy, they're pretentiously self-referential, not ironically self referential. Also, Seacrest is an asshat.
Sounds like someone was rejected for american idol. Music is a passion to a lot of people...hence the music shows...whats enjoyable to some may not be to others yet insulting those who dont agree with you makes YOU the ASSHOLE
Daughtry is in fact a total douche! He refuses to perform for the troops overseas unless he gets paid for it!
